We are indebted to the lovely folks who have spent some of their past seven Saturdays helping out and bringing the smiles (and occasionally cake). It’s looking great – donated trees and woodchip in situ, the container’s getting a coat of smart green paint and the fencing is about to go in. Follow our Instagram and Facebook pages to see what we’re doing.

Apply for Membership now!
Exclusively for our newsletter subscribers, dual membership application for the co-operative and also for the community composting scheme is now open! Fill in the Google form on this link – it’s dual-purpose – you can become a shareholder in BATCOM CBS for the princely sum of £1, and/or join the composting scheme before it opens!
80% of our co-op Membership is limited to people who live and work in the Brimscombe and Thrupp parish, so there may be a wait if you live outside the boundary. The composting scheme itself is for Brimscombe and Thrupp households only. Please read the ‘Get Involved’ section of our website for more details.
